THE 21st ASIAN CONGRESS OF ARCHITECTS - INCHEON 2025 marks the midpoint between now and 2050, the year when all nations have committed to achieving carbon neutrality. This presents an unprecedented challenge for architects. Architecture must play a crucial role in reaching these goals. Architects should act as catalysts to facilitate rapid and thorough changes in the built environment. While numerous doomsday scenarios exist, we must persuade society to adapt a positive outlook towards the future through creative thinking and innovative approaches.

Meaningful changes to achieve net-zero will occur by reinforcing sustainable design and embracing smart technology. Inclusive design will create better places for people. Now architects must take on the role of proactive leaders in creating 'a better tomorrow'.
